Welcome to ClubPilot. This guide shows Club Managers how to create one-off tasks for themselves. We're using fictional training records in the real app. Start in Tasks, then choose Add a task. You can also open Add something on your Dashboard and choose Task. We'll follow the manager's task form. Under Who is it for, choose your own name. Club Managers can assign these tasks only to themselves. Your role and club appear beside your name, so check the selection. Choose General task, does not repeat. Give the job a short, clear title. For example, Check Christmas poster displays. This creates a one-off job, rather than a repeating monthly checklist item. Add instructions that explain what needs doing. A useful link is optional. Use Due date to choose when the job needs to be finished. Check the date carefully before saving. Choose Assign task once, and wait for confirmation. The saved job appears under Assigned tasks. Check its title and deadline. Personally assigned tasks also appear on your Dashboard. Open the task to add a progress note under Comments and figures, then choose Save comment. The note stays in the task history. You can also attach a supporting document when useful. Only mark the task complete once the actual work is finished. In this fictional example, we're closing the demonstration task. The completed record stays available so you can review what happened. To find these steps again, open Search and type Add your own task. Open the matching help guide. On a phone, you can also choose More, then User manual. If the creation button is missing, ask your administrator to check your Tasks permission. View-only access does not allow task creation. Create the task, check the deadline, do the work, then mark it complete. Thanks for watching.
